Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 [1] is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the film Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez's character on the ABC Family/Freeform drama Switched at Birth (2011-17). She currently plays Camila Diaz on the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (2019). Marie started her acting career during her teens. In 1988, she landed a role in Salsa. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was selected for the role of Angie Lopez on the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie was a star in 2001's comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She also appeared in the PBS drama series American Family. She introduced her clothing line "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. 2. She was featured in an advertisement by PETA encouraging people to spay/neuter pets. [3] Marie was the legally-authorized and birth mother of one of her daughters Regina Vasquez. She was a part of the ABC Family/Freeform show Switched at Birth from 2011 until 2017.
