Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenez, 2 September 1966)[3][4][5]) is an American and Mexican actress. Her career began in Mexico and she appeared in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) that brought her an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) are just a few of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's performance as Frida Kahlo painting artist in Frida (2002), a biographical documentary she made that earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6for the role of Frida Kahlo in Frida (2002). In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek starred in the action-oriented Once Upon a Time in Mexico movies in the years after and shifted her focus to producing.
