sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He is the son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). He has an older brother named Frank Stallone, who is an actor and musician. Sylvester was paralyzed on the left lower part of his face due to complications during the birth of his child. He is now sporting the famous "snarling" expression, as well as a slightly high pitched voice. Stallone has spent a significant portion of his childhood in foster care due to of the volatile relationship between parents and children. The couple later split up. Stallone was a drama student in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. He left the school before getting his degree and relocating to New York City to pursue acting as a career.
