Lis Wehl was born on September 19, 1961, in the US, is an author and the former legal expert of Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. In the past, she was an associate professor of Law University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She's appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File, with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs as well as the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. She also worked as an NPR legal reporter. All Things Considered. She was principal investigating counsel to the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She was tenured professor of law at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
