Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress, musician and playback vocalist in Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was raised into an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor in the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older cousin of an assistant researcher who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah hails born in Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. Andrea was a huge geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. Young Stars was the Jackson Five-style band that Andrea joined at 10 years old. This led to her first singing career and her early musical composition. She also worked as an actor in the college. Andrea was the President of Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea began her theatre career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She starred with Shiva in a Leo commercial for a coffee. She also acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai serial. The actress has acted across India. She was in a small character in the finale of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Vaisudev Menon performed in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to have her play the role of a female character on Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea portraying Kalyani a homemaker whose husband engages in an affair, and then is targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was chosen for the part after Simran and Tabu both actresses were approached by producers. Released in Early 2010. In 2011, she agreed to take on a small supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which premiered in August of 2011.
